Press brakes are presses that exerts a mechanical, hydraulic, electric or manual force on a set of dies to bend, form or punch metal.
Many of today's press brakes use an air bending process where a sophisticated control determines the depth that the punch or upper die extends into the lower die. Air bending press brakes takes much less tonnage than bottom bending or coining.
